Established in 1889 we celebrated our 125th anniversary in 2014. We’re very proud of our heritage, and of being the fifth generation of launderers in our family.
We have grown from being a domestic laundry in the late nineteenth century and early twentieth century, serving the large houses in the area by horse and cart. These days our offering is purely commercial and we are one of the few independent, family-run, mid-sized laundries in existence..
We rent the dust mats with a laundry service provided, the mats are swapped for clean on either a weekly or fortnightly change.

These days Deeside is a far cry from the kitchen maids of Victorian houses. The laundry now works with a complete spectrum of industries from restaurants and hotels through to many varied industrial companies. 2006 saw the start of the next generation for Deeside Laundry. The Chairman, David Cross, handed over to his sons Jonathan and Nick who continue the tradition of running a family business 125 years after the business was launched.
